THE ORDER
In the 19th century, many Masonic degrees in England were organized into distinct Orders. To unify remaining independent degrees, the Grand Council of the Allied Masonic Degrees was founded in the 1870s at Mark Masons’ Hall. Today, it oversees Councils in England, Wales, and worldwide.
